Just purchase 23 GT FTB

Hello everyone,

I went into my local AS dealer a couple weeks ago to check on the status of the 22 Caravel my wife and I had ordered. While walking through the showroom I noticed a 23 GT FTB and asked if it was available. IT WAS. After a quick call to the wife she gave the OK to upgrade to the GT. I was hesitant to spend 24k more for one more foot of trailer, but after considering all the differences, (twin beds being the decider) we went with the GT.

We had to wait a week to get a scheduled walk through, but now it is home with us. I feel lucky that I happened to drop by and it was there, I have read many stories of people waiting.

Looking forward to being part of the Airstream family.

Scott

Congrats on your new AS. Consider yourself fortunate as there are many who have been waiting a long time for their AS.

And also welcome to the forum. We are here to help in any way we can. Just ask and you will get a multitude of answers/opinions.

Join the AS Club if you really want to be part of the AS family!

Best regards!

Scott, I think you made the right call! Airstream did a great job with the 23’ by adding twins. We had a FC23FB before our 27’ GT and might have kept it if it had them. Like Hans said, consider joining the Airstream club, you’ll meet lots of likeminded people.

Good luck! -Jeff

Congratulations! We currently have a 27FB but also had a Globetrotter 23 FBT. Great layout, and you will enjoy it very much. Photos of ours are on FB & Instagram at @Airstreamists if you need any ideas. Enjoy!

Globetrotter 23 FT twin Airsteam

Congratulations on your globetrotter !!!!! How great that you dropped by the dealership finding your new Airsteam. We love our twin Floor plan .
Let the adventures begin. Look on the web to see what clubs are in your area. Attend a few of the rallies. You will be welcome even before you choose a local Club to join. We belong to greater Los Angeles Airstreaming Club. Check out on the web all the upcoming fun events. Airstreams are wonderful. The real silver lining is the people you’ll meet on this journey.
See you down the road neighbor. Safe travels.

We love our 25' GT. We were very fortunate to find a 2021 locally that was barely used for a month. You'll love yours
