Fix For 2018/2019 GT Over Refrigerator Cabinet

I apologize in advance if this fix is in the GT forum already. I did get this idea from something I read on Air Forums, just not sure where.






The gas struts are from Amazon, two for $7.99 (link below.) Only one is needed for this cabinet, each is rated for 18 lbs. No more holding this door open with my head

One other addition I have just put in are two folding hooks on the bedroom wall. I saw these in a post by SuperTrouper several months ago ( thanks SuperTrouper.) They are from Ikea, $14.99 for a three pack (link below.)

This is your Mooresville "neighbor" you met at Alumalina. I've been meaning to do the refrig cabinet fix but have been too lazy to look for the part. Now I know where to get it.

FYI-A GT contact of mine on the forum, "Hans627", found a hook that matches the make of the towel hanger in the bathroom. He had a spare that he sent me. It fits above the toilet on the corner panel that hides the toilet vent pipe. It gives you another place to hang another towel.

If you are interested, email me and I'll send you a picture. Hans627 could provide you the source if you wanted one.

Still waiting on a Canopener slot as is Hans627.
