Dometic Thermostat

The person who guided our walk through cautioned against programming the thermostat. Itís been very cold over night here in AZ, down in the 30ís. Iíd like to just set the furnace to come on for an hour or so prior to us rising out of bed. Should there be any problems with doing that?

Thanks!

It will help if you would please identify the year, model and length of your Airstream. You can also add this info under your User Name to the left, via the User CP link at the left end of the blue menu bar above.

If I had to guess, why you were cautioned to avoid programming, because errors may result in a "no heat" situation. In contrast, doing the heat manually at first will reduce errors, but obviously require more supervision.

Good luck,

Peter

The programming is not very user friendly and only gives you two states, but I use mine all of the time to warm up the trailer before I have to get out of bed.

Glitches AS hadnít worked out. We should have asked more questions... not sure if the issue was programming to switch between furnace and AC.
