converter ?

my monitor inside shows batteries at 9-10, the lights inside are flickering, when I check the voltage in the battery box , it reads 13.5????
we have had electrical issue since our first trip , which was to the top of Georgia airstream park which has only 30 amp service, our battery switch kept on turning off don't know why
at our compound I have 50 amp hooked up and still battery monitor shows 9-10
any suggestions? is it the converter? if so where is the darn thing?

My first step would be to check for a loose connection or a piece of burnt wire. If your batteries are at the correct voltage and yet your lights are flickering and the panel shows something less, then not all that voltage is getting inside to the fuse panel. With 13.5 volts at the batteries, it sounds like your converter/charger is working.

A corroded or loose connection between the batteries and the 12v fuse panel could be the culprit, as could a bad ground connection. Check them all.

Yes - fuse panel cover needs to come off, but you've obviously found that out by now if you found the loose wire.

If you found one there might be others. Probably a good idea to continue inspecting. Loose connections make heat, and heat is not your friend in these situations. Tends to help the smoke escape.
