I have another question regarding the Dometic RMD 8555 3 way refrigerator. We had some repair work done recently on our new 2020 23FBT when it would not run on
12V after purchasing in July. It worked on propane at the time. Now we are using it for the 1st time since the repair and are plugged in. The fridge is working fine but it’s very hot and we wanted to accelerate the cooling process by using propane. It alarms immediately when selecting propane. Tanks are full and the stove works. According to the manual troubleshooting section, if it doesn’t operate on gas, there should be an upstream shut off device that must be open. (No picture in the user or installation manual). We are wondering if the dealer could have shut it off when fixing the
12V and forgot to open it. Is anyone aware of a shut off device and if so, would you describe it and it’s location. In the exterior panel we see the gas connections, but a shut off valve isn’t readily apparent. Thanks!
