Hey all!

I am considering having a lithium system put into the GT relatively soon. Was curious to know if anybody could tell me the location of the stock inverter and how to access it. Much appreciated!

Welcome to the forum, Chris. I think this is the correct owner's manual:

On p. 5-7 [PDF 35/99] there is a section on the inverter, but the floor plans on p. 4-2 [PDF 26/99] do not show its location in the various models. The electrical diagrams on p. 8-15 [PDF 79/99] are basic schematics, and don't show actual inverter locations for the various GT lengths.

Suggest contacting your salesperson for more detail for your specific length GT.

Folks will need to know which Globetrotter you have to be able to help you.

On the 2019 Globetrotter 27FB Twin it’s in a compartment at the head of the door side bed. Remove the mattress—it’s a panel roughly 1/4 the length of the bed.

OK, then unless they’ve changed things, look for the seam under the door side mattress. A few screws and that panel pries out and your inverter, 12V board, and other goodies are there.

They haven't changed anything. It's still there. We just completed a lithium/solar upgrade on a similar gt.

They did change from wfco to progressive dynamics though...

While you are in that compartment, open up the large gray 12v distribution block. Look for and remove any metal shavings that are present. They can be dangerous later.
