Storage bins for under bed

We r second owners of our AS and it does not have the under bed storage bins that come with the AS. Does anyone know what type and size the bins are? Where to buy replacements?

I took our measurements to Home Depot and Target. The Sterilite totes work well under our bed.

Sorry, I don't know the size off hand but I just measured the spaces where the bins were supposed to be and got all of ours at Walmart. I believe they were Sterilite as well.

Must be a thing for original owners to keep all the bins

Sterilite is the brand, and this post in another recent thread has a good overview and some links for a smaller size which works well in the overhead cabinets:

Hi, could you tell us what year and model trailer you have?

My trailer came with 2 Sterilite 54 quart.

We full time so we are always looking for ways to be more efficient with our storage space.

One of those ways was to change out the storage bins that came with the AS and purchased fabric covered storage cubes from Walmart.

Two of these cubes fit side by side under each side our queen bed where there was one plastic tote before. These cubes use the wasted space generated by the tapered sides of the plastic totes and thus allows for more clothes storage in the same space.

Our first Airstream, a 1975, came with brown plastic (polystyrene, I think) tubs that were clearly designed for the openings under the beds. They were useful, and surprisingly durable considering their lightness. We were the 5th owners, I think, and they went with the trailer when we sold it.

The Sterilite bins are probably better quality, come with lids, and are readily available anywhere.

We are thinking of replacing a couple of the deep bins under the bed with more shallow bins to improve organization of our stuff.

Did you see the link in Post #4 which leads to a post on various Sterilite possibilities? A great product line with many functional options, including the smaller 1805 "flip-top" containers, which work great in the upper cabinets with the curved back walls.

Ours came with two types of bins:
- Black hard plastic (were under the twin beds)
- Clear sterilite (were under the dinette and couch)

Turns out the black bins fit perfectly under the dinette, the clear bins perfectly under the twins. I'll bet the dealer cleanup crew wasn't paying attention when they prepped the trailer.

Did either come with a product label or UPC? If so, would you share?

I just bought a new 2020 Flying Cloud 25RB a few days ago. I took this picture of the ones located under our bed:

We are getting ready to order a 2024 Flying Cloud 25' Twin. Could someone tell me the dimensions of the underbed storage areas, including the height?

Thanks!
