Well dang, now I'm going to have to look at ours. We have a 27' FBT and I never noticed a gap. In fact, I keep the skylight shades open at night so if I wake up in the middle of the night I have a better sense if it is starting to get light out (rather than putting on my glasses so I can actually read the clock!). I don't notice substantial light coming from the window next to my bed.

My wife ordered the material and made curtains to fit each window.

Thank you!

This would totally work. Thank you!

I honestly think mine are defective. They are narrow and the gap is about an inch on each side for all 4 windows. When laying in bed, or standing at the end of my bed, I can see the trailer next to me.

Our trailer is in storage but I am picking it up next weekend to winterize and I will take a picture of our shades and post.

I just checked our window shades in the bedroom (granted it is a different model; 27 FBT, but those shades fully cover the windows.

Thank you! I called the dfw dealer to ask them about the shades just for my own piece of mind. They confirmed I have the wrong size installed. Mine are 1 inch too narrow.

Install Reflectix in the window. Creates privacy and reflects cold and heat. Also keeps the light out if you want to sleep late. My apology if someone else posted same. Not enough time to read all the great posts. This is simple to correct and move on with your RVing enjoyment. Pat

Some wooden clothes pin's on each of the window opening latches places the shade closer to the window. With a Ft Twin bed we hated the sun streaming in early or lights at nights.

I have a 28, but a Serenity. It has curtains in the bedroom. Camping neighbors are thankful...
