Need advice on Contoure
Ok. - we have this brand new 2018 FC 30' and I've read and re-read the owners manual for the Contoure multi function microwave and I'm still confused - LOL - I understand all the rules for cookware with a microwave - but the manual clearly states that if using the ""OVEN"" function, there is NO microwave activity going on.........ok ..........then do you use only the microwave approved cookware when using the oven also?? Or can you use a small metal cookies sheet, or muffin tin? just wanting to know what to pack in this new trailer?
Some of you have already told me it bakes things very nicely......but what did you use? just micro-approved stuff? or also some metal stuff?
Thanks for any help

We use standard cook-and-bakeware in ours when using our convection microwave as a convection oven. Use microwave-safe stuff when microwaving.

Silicone bakeware will work for both convection or microwave mode. It will also work in LP oven. It won’t rattle or break.

What have you learned since 2017. Our Contoure model is RV 2005-con but we have no manual for one thing. For another, assuming it runs on propane (by looking at the tube inside the top of the oven, we have no knob on the stove. There should be one to the right correct? We have 3 top burner knobs, and a starter knob only.
Can you set us straight? I am going next to contoure online if I can find them.

If yours is anything like ours, there are 3 stove top burners that run only on propane, and below that there is a microwave/convection oven. The microwave/convection oven only runs on 120V, so you'd need shore power, generator power, or an upgraded electrical system that powers it off the invertor in order to use that unit.

Greetings The work this unit Conv/ Micro Oven takes a lot of reading! Because there is no Major Directions With It!
It seems the Dealers should Offer A Class On This Contoure Unit before you leave the dealership!
Everybody says it is the best, Once you know how to use it!! Wish They Made A Book On How Too Just Work It?

Google is your friend. 10 seconds, here is the manual
https://www.rvupgradestore.com/v/vsp...CON_Manual.pdf
I dunno, I press 1-0-0 and then START. Works every time for my microwave Maybe that's why I have an oven too. Turn on the gas, lite, good to go.

I have the same microwave/convection oven in my 2018 Flying Cloud. When using it as an oven any cookware may be used.
