Included items - new Flying Cloud

What items are provided by Airstream on a new Flying Cloud? I’m not asking about items some dealers provide, just what comes with the trailer, like power cord and what else? Sewer hose and connections? Thanks for your help!

The power cord, sewer hose and safety chains is it. Dealer now provides batteries, make sure they have not been in the trailer long and have not been discharged excessively.

It depends on the dealer. Airstream of Chicago didn't include a sewer hose. They included the power cord and a little electric outlet tester. That's it. I had to buy everything else.

Ours also included a dog bone adapter (50A/30A), power jack manual crank handle, leveler speed wrench, awning hook and Voyager wireless camera in addition to the other items mentioned.

Some are dependent on the options your trailer is equipped with.

Those are the factory items - dealer added sewer hose, some plastic chocks, circuit tester.

Check out the video from KYD for RV Newbies (hot link). They do a great job identifying what else you’ll need.

Sometimes dealers provide extras or necessary items which you may not like. I bought Rhino sewer hose, Harbor Freight wheel chocks, a few things that would be much better than what dealers offer. I still have the dealer's "gift" - sewer hose in garage that I did not like.

The Airstream came with the power cord, remotes, a welcome mat, pillows (lots of pillows!) and a box of strange and mysterious parts that they didn't use (like the alternate base for the TV stand). Our dealer threw in the sewer hose and connection, a water hose, a sample of black tank chemicals and a hefty discount for anything else we wanted to purchase from them.

Check with the dealer!
