Can the table lock in different positions?

We have a 2018 FC 23FB. Our table locks in position if fully retracted (pushed as close into the seats as possible), but it doesn't seem possible to lock in any other position. This means that if we have 3-4 people sitting at the table, and it's extended out a bit, it slides around when someone accidentally puts their weight on it or pushes it.

Is our table broken, or is this a design flaw? Any ideas for how to address this?

Functioning as designed. If you look under the table you will see a simple slide lock that comes in behind the table slides to prevent it from moving. There is nowhere else along that slide where the slide lock can go in.

Yes, I see that slide lock. I was just hoping it was possible to lock it in other positions so it doesn't slide around when eating, playing games, etc. But it sounds like it wasn't designed for that. Thanks for your reply.
