2021 fc 30 rbq
Any known issues with these? How is the composite floor working out, since this is the first year for that?

Well, the cat's out of the bag. We're seriously looking at a 2021 FC 30 RBQ near Salt Lake City. All of the financial stuff looks good, so we will be going up the second week of December to look and (presumably) bring it back south.
I reached out to a volunteer inspector up there earlier this week but haven't heard back from him yet, so I'm assuming that I'll be doing my own inspection.

I have no first-hand experience with these. But just speaking anecdotally, it seems like there have been far more QC issues reported with all models built during “peak covid” years. I personally will avoid them in the future.

I've read several comments about the deteriorated quality of the builds during the Covid years. I would expect that most, if not all, of those issues on any particular trailer would be addressed by now. Obviously, I can't disassemble the trailer prior to purchasing it just to see if it was put together properly, but I can and will wiggle everything I can to see if it is properly attached. That will be part of my inspection prior to handing over the Reflection. I'll keep the Forum posted as I dig deeper into the trailer. Of course, there is no guarantee that we will actually buy this particular trailer.

We have a 2021 30 RBQ Classic which has the composite floor no problems in 4 camping seasons with over 48,000 miles towed.

We have 40k miles on our 2021. It was at the dealer every qtr for warranty work.
I would ask how many miles on it. If less than say 10k miles then be on the lookout for cabinets anchored properly, wardrobe hanging ro secure, shower door secure.
Imho, the floor is the least of your worries

I had a 21 and loved it. Composite floor feel a lot more comfy than the old wood subfloors. You will also most likely have the LP fridge, which for a boondocker like me is nearly worth its weight in gold. You also might have the floor to ceiling closets, which also were a great thing to have that the newer ones don't.

Composite floor seems great
We have a 2022 of the same and it’s been amazing. We’ve been full-time in it with no big headaches.

Thanks. It is starting to hit us that we might actually be Airstream owners in a week! Lots to learn.
So, how does one tell how many miles are on a trailer? I've never yet seen one with an odometer, so I suspect that any number quoted is just a guess. I note in my fuel log whether I was towing or not, but sometimes a particular tank has some towing miles on it and some not towing. I suppose I should go through that log before we turn this trailer in (assuming that all goes as planned) and come up with a number.

Well
Floor has been working well, Only problem we have had is a squeaky floor back in the bedroom area. It turned out to be the wall trim against the floor. JC explained and reduced the noise 90% so now I don’t worry that it's a major issue.
Ft end separation from 3/4 ton trucks and HE MAN weight distribution adjustments now that’s a PROBLEM

Good question! I don’t know the answer, other than by estimating or wear/tear etc.
Unless someone keeps detailed records.
We purchased used and installed new tires on day 1 of ownership. I keep a “trailer tire mileage” log separate from our tow vehicle’s fuel log. So at least we’ll know how many miles on our tires, and how many miles we’ve added to what was already on the trailer previously.
