Where to buy Alde glycol online for 2020 Classic 33FB

I’ve tried to call the dealer, search in various places online and can only fine glycol from England for sale but they won’t ship here. I would have assumed it would be easier to find the light yellow-green fluid. Advice/sources? Many many many thanks!!!!

I bought a gallon (smallest size they had) when I was at Jackson Center for repairs first week in October. They do ship; hope they can help.

Best,
Chip

They have gallon jugs...I think it is $50ish plus shipping. Don't go to a dealer they are ripoffs. Paid $50 for a half gallon in Michigan. I needed due to weather and couldn't wait. Also I think Alde in Indiana would sell and ship you it too. But when Inwent through Elkhart this fall they were on covid restrictions and I couldn't visit.

I just bought a gallon from Truma. They service and produce Alde in USA. Based in Elkhart. $55 for a gallon, smallest size they have.

How do I know which one to order? The color seems clear-yellow-green. More on the yellow side but pale color, not bright. Are there considerations as to formula?

I believe they add color to detect leakage and has no barring on the function of the Propylene Glycol boiler fluid. As I said, I use clear.

"Alde Glycol" is probably rebranded by Chemworld who deals with train loads of the stuff. Check there site you will see there offer to brand it with your name.

I just called Truma, don’t know if they have a website. Their sales department knew what I needed. The color is a bluish green color.

Did your alde qualify for the fluid and ground recall?

Also, check your Alde system when it is warm and running. When it is off (cold) the fluid will show close to the minimum line. Once it heats up, the fluid expands and will be more toward the "full" (maximum line) side.

Do not think you need to add fluid when the system is cold and at the minimum line.

I bought my fluid at Jackson Center when we stopped to have my Alde system checked. $50 for a gallon, the smallest they had of the new fluid.

Here is the sales information that came with my Alde Flow. PS i have extra fluid that I’ll sell you if you’re local to me. It’s already open so can’t ship. It’s a little less than a gallon. I’ll cut you a great deal — $40?

I’m in northern Cali and moving towards Southern California and shooting across 10 to FL end of December or beginning of January.

Hi Tim

I think this is the document you're holding. I downloaded it recently to understand the Alde Flow better.

Have a 2018 Classic with Alde system and glycol was recalled recently. So, need the real Alde specific glycol--assuming couldn't get this from ChemWorld online!? Also, DON'T mix various editions of Alde glycol according to Truma.
