What is the purpose of these plugs?
Was checking on the the AS yesterday and noticed these plugs for the first time in two years. They are above the lights in the cabinets. Anybody know their purpose?

It's not a plug. It's a fancy connector. You use those instead of something like a bullet connector.

But what is their purpose?
But what do you plug into them? Why are they there?

What Jim said...
Aka Push connectors. Push the wire in and that’s it, or how they’re advertised. If you ever have issues with those lights, start with these as the culprit.

They don't plug in to anything. They are simply a "new" type of wire connection used during the assembly of your trailer.
Imagine connecting wire ends by twisting them together and screwing an electical cap on the bare ends.
Now imagine that (in place of the above) AS chose to use this type of wire connector.
Just push them back out of the way and forget about them until you have an electical problem in that area.

OK, so think of them as tiny junction boxes. Used to string the lights. I was thinking that I could plug something into them but I couldn't imagine what that might be.
We so want to take her (Stella) out that we just sit inside and look at stuff that we really haven't paid much attention to over the past few years. All fixed up with nowhere to go.
Thanks for your help and stay healthy

Hi, in car talk, those are connectors for options that your trailer didn't come with.

Be careful, you were not suppose to discover those.
I can't tell you what they are for, it is dangerous knowledge. Put it back and never speak of it again.

Wago Lever Nuts. An improvement on old style wire-nuts. They just connect all of the wires going into them. They clamp on to each wire individually and connect them all to each other on a little bus. One of the nice features is that you can simply pull a lever up and release an individual wire. I've seen them in versions ranging from 2 to 5 wire connectors. I keep a variety pack in my tool kit. https://www.amazon.com/LEVER-NUTS-Sp.../dp/B07Q7WM3SK

connections
Simply put: The orange thing is a connector that ties the big wire and small wire together. That's all it does.

I googled "Wago 221".
They are called 'lever nuts'.
By lifting the orange lever, then inserting the stripped wire, and closing the lever it makes a connection. Obviously different gauges of wire, and they come up to five wires connected together.

Pretty Slick
Those are nice, wish I had used them instead of these. They were a bear sometimes trying to get the wire in, but they are cheaper

Those are not plugs. It is a connector for joining two wires together. They are quick and easy to install and tend to hold very well.
