In a word, no. They are not at all waterproof and would corrode quickly. They also do not make a ‘gas-tight’ connection.
Use marine adhesive lined heat-shrink covered crimp connectors crimped with a ratcheting crimp tool. These connections will be much more reliable and the heat shrink will keep water out when shrunk down properly.
Note: soldering is NOT appropriate. The solder makes the wires brittle and prone to breaking at the soldered joint under vibration. Proper crimps are good for aerospace and avionics wiring applications, solder is not. And I’m talking 20 plus years at Boeing to bear this out.
