Tire question

We are contemplating the purchase of a used 2016 Classic 30 from an Airstream dealer. In Service date July 2016. The coach appears in good condition. I am trying to get an indication of whether the coach has had high or low mileage. The tires on the unit appear to be in new condition, Michelin LTX 16 inch, which would indicate either very low mileage or high enough mileage that the tires were replaced. There is a goodly amount of dust/road dirt on the floor of the outside fridge cavity, indicating higher mileage as well.
Can anyone verify whether the units produced in 2016 would have come from the factory with Michelin LTX tires? Thanks.

Yes, it could have. And sometimes owners replaced the 15" wheels and tires right out of the door with no miles on them. The GYM's were that bad. I do not know how to estimate miles on a unit. I also feel like it does not matter. Just evaluate the condition of the unit. Nothing on the trailer except the brakes and bearings really wear from miles and you are supposed to service them regularly anyway. I would rate the wheels and tires on it as a huge plus and work from there. Age and leaks are the enemy.

You could and should check the date of manufacture of the tires. That might tell you if they were original or not.
