Replacement Mattresses

HI all,

We have a 2018 30RBT and we have the 6.5 Mattresses.

Curious if anyone has replaced the original mattresses with new ones from Airstream and if so what thickness you went with.

I'm curious about the 8.5 and how well they work with the reclining features.

Thanks for any experiences you've had.

I replaced our stock 8 inch power bed mattresses with 11 inch for memory foam From engineered sleep mattress company. Their prices are reasonable and the services are great and they are delivered and extremely timely fashion I give them a plus. I got the sheets that fit them are the 400 thread Italian sheets from Ab lifestyles

We went with Brooklyn Bedding. They seem to be the ones that specialize in RV beds and short queens. Love our mattress now.

AB Lifestyles also has several options to fit the Airstream's curved walls.

We went with the 9" hybrid which was a big upgrade over the off brand ones that came in our trailer.

You are in Georgia - might be worth a trip to Knoxville, Tennesse and visit Brother's Bedding in Knoxville. Some great campgrounds within an exit or two. They took my old mattress as a template and built a new custom mattress to my comfort and selected materials - about three days and about $900 for a queen. Well worth the investment if you spend any significant time in your trailer.

I'd forgotten about Brothers... when we lived in Knoxville, we got a mattress from them. Was really great. Hadn't thought of them for a trailer mattress...
