Replaced sofa w recliners

We love the result. We had the work done by a fellow in TN (will supply more info if wanted) who does work on Prevost motor homes. He did a great job, adding a table with 2 drawers and top that matches the kitchen and bedroom tops, and enclosing the heat system in matching padded panels. See pics. The chairs are Lambright Relaxer Lite. Any chair could be used really. Cost less than what I had heard AS is charging. And now we are comfortable .....Click image for larger version

2017 Classic Recliners

I did the same with our 2017 Classic and also used Lambert Recliners, wall huggers which allow us to fully recline. I did the job myself, not hard except getting the Alde piping covered.

Just curious. Can the chairs be rotated to where they face the table? Thanks, Mike

That setup looks really nice.

Now if I can just convince the wife to give up the storage behind and under the sofa.

I like what I see he did with the panels. I tried to copy the covers using aluminum side panels and covers, a pain to be sure. Recliners are so much nicer than the inclined couch. Which I still have if anyone wants before I turn it into spare leather pieces

How to cover Alde was his biggest challenge, and after thinking about your way, he came up w the padded coverings similar to the ones behind the beds. Yours looks great too.

Yes, they turn 360. Without the built in table you’d have lots of options.

The built in table prevents rotation.

Thanks, when he did the Alde covers did he curve the cover or square it off. Curious as the curving was a pain, I do like the look of yours and might attack this again.

Hi

There is a pretty big pile of electrical wiring under the center of the stock "sofa". Any re-do of this area will need to keep that in mind. My DIY version does not look anywhere as neat as the ones in the pictures

Here are closeups of Alde covering. The tops are just press fit. They will move under extreme conditions but can easily be replaced
