5 years ago, I would have said drawers. But now that we are retired and live in the AS while wintering in AZ, we use the oven frequently.....so the answer is relative to your lifestyle.

RE: Oven or Drawers?

Even though neither of my trailers have any drawers in the kitchen, I wouldn't want to be without my LP Gas ovens. They see regular use year round. They may not be the most efficient, and may need closer monitoring of temperature, but they have performed flawlessly for me now for more than 20 years.

We never (well maybe once or twice) use the oven. It makes a great storage cabinet. And you still have the oven option (for you or for resale).

Oven or Drawers

We have a 2019 FC 25 RBT with the oven. We are going to get a price from Airstream JC to remove the oven/cooktop unit and replace with new cooktop and double drawers below. We currently use the oven for storage but are willing to pay for the modification. Love everything else about the trailer. I wanted the drawers when we bought the trailer new, but DW said "NO", I like to bake stuff. Never used it in 4 years. That the story and I am sticking to it! Get the drawers!

Oven. Use it as storage when not in use.

Oven. The microwave/ convection oven was a huge disappointment for baking.

I’m in the process of replacing our convection microwave with a drawer, not a cabinet.

A cabinet would definitely be cheaper and easier, and a drawer wastes some of the space, but the depth makes accessing things in the back difficult for me as a 6-footer with stiff knees.
