Problem with safety valve popping between Alde flow and Alde

2018 classic 30 with Alde 3010 and Alde flow

With city water on the valve keeps popping open, draining underneath. Too much pressure ? Faulty safety valve?

Another problem using fresh water - not enough pressure and seems like air pockets still in system. Turn on faucet and you can hear the flow unit bubbling

Any ideas?

Turn off city water and turn pump off. Then manually drain the water, not the Alde fluid, completely out. Could take ten minutes, you can watch it under the trailer. When finished close the relief valve and open the city water. Should be good to go. There is a necessary air pocket at the top of the sanitary water jacket which needs to be maintained or it will dump on its own. I do it once a week to ten days

Or just add an accumulator tank somewhere in the AS cold water plumbing. They have a permanent air bubble in them. Camco makes one...

Thanks for responding so quickly.
Did that - same thing.

Other issue with water pump - will not shut off... adjusted the pressure screw on the unit - up and down - no luck.
???

Thanks for the quick response.
Tried what u said...same result. If I turn on a hot water faucet, then close the valve, it does not pop again; turn the faucet off, then it pops.

There have been a few Safety valves that were defective. Call JC, perhaps they will provide you a new one shipped out for DIY.

What James said. Several have had to be replaced. There is a check valve in the water pump which may have gone as well, mine was replaced under warranty a couple of weeks ago at the factory.
