Polk Audio System Bluetooth Connection
I am having troubles pairing an iPad with the Polk Audio system in our 2018 Classic 33. Has anyone else had issues? I have tried 2 different devices - neither one will connect.
Thoughts?

We have not, either with a Droid or IPhone. Ours is a 2017 but should be the same Polk system.
Might double check to see if the pad "sees" the Polk is all I can think of.

I had an issue with the first attempt. Wouldn't pair or even recognize the Polk system. I deleted the app from my iPhone 8, turned phone off. Powered down Polk, then with phone on, and Polk on, reinstalled the app, iPhone Bluetooth on, then BT button on Polk screen, follow prompts, and Viola!
I haven't had to reinstall or re-pair since.
Hop this helps!

I had similar issues with connecting my iPhone--ended up calling Polk customer service/technical support and they helped me troubleshoot the issue and get it resolved. They were very helpful and their number is in the Polk documentation that came with your Airstream.

I pretty did what ChipB did and it paired very easily afterward.

I have kind of a reverse question to this thread. I've successfully paired my iPhone but am wondering if one can pair a set of bluetooth headphones to the system. In other words, instead of pumping sound from a device to the stereo I would like to get sound to go the other direction from the stereo to the headphones. That would allow one to watch TV without disturbing someone who is trying to sleep.

Great question for which I have no answer. But I would like to know also so I'm just tagging along!

I’ve sucessfully paired my iPhone for Bluetooth music playback but not for Bluetooth telephone calls. I’ve tried everything for Bluetooth telephone without success!

bluetooth problem with Polk
I had similar problems where the Polk system was not showing on my bluetooth list of devices - powered down the AS (battery disconnect and pulled the power supply) for a minute, reconnected and paired up - no problem.
Question on the subwoofer - how can you be sure it is connected...I have a feeling that it is not - no sound or vibration while playing some music.

Sure would appreciate it if someone who has a set of bluetooth ear buds or headphones could give this a try and report back.

My 2018 was delivered with same problem. The dealer checked it out, after I fussed and it was wiring that came loose in transit. Simple fix and now the couch hums.

If it's the same as on my '14: The subwoofer has a volume control on it (with an off position). I'd check that.
