Has anyone seen the alert on the Alde Screen which says “Overheat Red Fail - Alde” ?

Here is what the Alde manual says:
Overheat red fail: Overheat protection (red cable) tripped. This fault can arise if the boiler is run at high power at the same time as there are air pockets in the heating system, the heating system should then be bled properly.
If the fault remains, contact a dealer. Also check that the fluid level in the expansion tank is at least 1 cm above the min line when cool.

Thanks. I had a different version of the Alde Manual which wasn’t helpful. I downloaded the correct one (which had this information in it).

Update - I reached out to our local dealer and am taking it in to have the unit serviced. More details later

Further update. We took our trailer to the local dealer where they have been troubleshooting for 3 weeks. The Alde system works on shore power but continues to give the same fault when trying to use Propane for heating. A factory rep was in Spokane and gave our local tech some additional ideas.
I love the Alde system when it is working - but it has been quirky to say the least.

Wow. Maybe they could just upgrade you to the 3020 unit at this point [emoji12]

Did they say what was wrong? Circulation Pump, maybe? We are having the failure code with our 3020 Alde System in our 2019 Classic.

First camping trip of the season to the Oregon Coast - Alde system leaked a bunch of fluid and stopped working. I called our dealer and they re looking at it again. We got plenty of hot water - but no heat. We called our dealer in Spokane and turned off fluid circulation throughout the coach.
We used the heat pumps to get the trailer for a week and had a great time - but boy the Alde system has been frustrating.

Should have re-posted this a long time ago, sorry...I was able to reset the Alde 3020 by turning off (opening) the 20amp breaker and removing the 10 amp red fuse, waiting for a short period (10 seconds or so), then closing the breaker and putting the fuse back. The Alde system rebooted and ta da! The hot water now flows.
I have had to do this twice now within a two week period, but hasn't happened since (about 2 months now). I have a reservation at Jackson Center in August to get this looked at, but fear there is nothing to be found. Darn ghosts.

Larry B. - I’m glad I found this post ! I was able to “fix” my Alde error message and can cancel a trip to the dealer ! Thank you!
