Low pressure gas

Since taking delivery of our '19 30' Classic in January of 2019 we have used our low pressure gas hook up sparingly, mostly for our small fire pit. The last time we used it was camping last Thanksgiving with our grandsons. Tried to use it this weekend and couldn't get our fire pit to light. Looking at the owner's manual there's not much about the low pressure system. Before anyone asks, both our tanks are full. Any suggestions?

Are you sure it’s a gas problem and not your pit? Do you get gas inside the trailer via stove, refer, or fridge?

Try resetting connections to the tanks. Close valve. Reseat the connection. Switch which tank is used via the white selector in the middle. Turn gas back on.

I do have gas to all appliances. I have opened and closed the tanks and tried switching the tanks. I'm not sure how to test the system since all we use it for is the fire pit and that worked the last time we tried it.

We are trying to identify what the issue is at this point. May just be your fire pit having issues.

Do you use your quick connect on the front of the airstream or do you connect directly to a tank? If you use the quick connect then try to connect directly to your fire pit. If problem still persists then you know it’s your fire pit, then I’d try and clean the jets out.

If it works from after you connect directly to a tank then it’s something with a regulator or the system on the airstream.

We eliminated our fire pit because the jets kept backing up. Hope this helps.

Two regulators trying to see who’s #1?

If fire pit works on bbq 20# tank, pit is good. But if two regulators AS and pit then no flames.

Swag from my campfire, no really.

Fire pit doesn't have a regulator and can't be connected to a tank for me to test it. We are camping again this weekend and hopefully someone will have something that I can connect to my Airstream and see if it works.

That would have been helpful in Post #1.

So your connecting to the quick connect on the front of the trailer?

I believe there is a BTU max on that thing. You may want to check that your fire pit is within that range. I know it has worked in the past but it may be a contributing factor to this issue.

Maybe too obvious, but are the quick connect valves all open?

Turn off gas at tanks, remove quick connect and clean it out. Mine had a good amount of junk in it and blocked gas flow.
