Left side recliner fuse?

The recliner/USB plug for the left side recliner doesn't have power. Sort of a catch 22 that you can't get the recliner up to be able to check the connections unless the recliner is powered.

I am hoping it is a fuse but none of the 12v fuses are labeled. Is the recliner fuses separately? If not, is there any way to get the recliner up without power?

The recliners are not powered from 12VDC. They are powered from 120VAC by way of their own power modules. If you are not plugged into shore power, you need to turn on the inverter to power the recliners.

Also, I have pried my recliners open by hand when unpowered. They are spring loaded in the closed position, but can be pulled open.

You may be able to get access to the plug by removing the grate looking things on the back of the couch or the center panel that covers the sub?

Joe,
Perhaps the 2016 Classic has a different recliner than the 2019. I have pulled very hard and the recliner won't open.

Which 120v breaker operates the recliners?

BigSxyWhtGuy,
I have pulled the center cover. No access. I can see the mechanism when I remove the cover behind the couch. I would need ape arms to reach anything.

The 2017 to 2021 Villa Recliner Couch does differ from the 2015-16 version. The 2015-16 has a wider center section that features a pull out drawer. The 2017-2021 version features a narrower center section that has no drawer, but hides the converter. There are also differences on the armrests and switches that operate the recliners.

The outlet the powers the recliners in on the 120V circuit breaker that feeds the "transfer switch" inside the inverter that allows them to be operated from the inverter when not connected to shore power. Off hand, I do not know which circuit breaker that is in my 2016 (I have labeled them inside the breaker box as they were unlabeled from the factory) but don't have a photo and the Classic is not stored at home. Your a 2019 could be different.

A tripper breaker should be in a slightly different position or try your TV or radio or the outlet under the dinette when plugged in to short power. If they work, the breaker is not tripped and the recliners should work.

Unless at some point (2019+?) the recliners were changed to 12V. We have friends with a 2017 or 2018 Classic (forget which) and I think theirs are still 120V.

P.S. OK, I remember now. I could manual pull the recliner out AFTER I removed the motor because the attachment point for the operating motor cracked off the steel framework under the couch. That's right, the little steel tabs on the steel bar that the motor attaches to snapped off. It has since been fixed. That may have been the only time it could be operated by hand.

Joe,
Thanks. The right recliner works so it isn't the 120 volt power supply. I can raise the right (curb side) recliner and see the plug where both recliners are plugged in.

I guess it is off to the dealer unless someone has a different suggestion. My dealer experiences have been less than sterling so I don't relish this trip.

I just opened my side storage to the couch and saw the switch connector to the USB/recliner switch. Have you checked that for power? Or see if your connector may have come loose or disconnected???

Seems like itís in a space that placing something in there may jar it loose on accident eventually.

We have blown our fuse to our recliners several times. We were shown the fuse under the dinette seat. Itís a 15amp fuse in the fuse panel. We were blowing the fuse simply by using the recline and changing the direction before waiting a couple of seconds before doing so. Hope this helps Bruh.

Does anyone have the fuse layout for a 2019 Classic 30

The 12-volt fuse panel does not have anything labeled. The owner's manual barely acknowledges that there are fuses. Does anyone have a list of what the fuses attach to?
