How long have you been waiting for your 2022 classic?

Folks - just wondering how long you have been waiting for your 2022 classic? The boss and I ordered a new 30' rear twin bed June week 1, 2021. I am being told delivery expectation in August 2022. What are you hearing on yours? We need to get back our there!

Different dealers mean different delivery times. I ordered the same RBT 30' early July and am now being told April 2022. It has changed back and forth since ordering. When did you last check with your dealer?

We ordered a Classic 33 FBT in August of 2021 through Airstream of Virginia. We have been told since the beginning to expect an April 2022 delivery.

We have not received our VIN as yet and generally receive very few updates from the dealership. We did however get a card over Thanksgiving...but that's about it.

I have been reaching out to the dealership about once a month or so...same story. No updates. No VIN. But they have several times confirmed the April 2022 timeframe. (I think they had an order position in the queue before we placed our order - and we got that order position).

I get with my sales rep/dealer every month. She is wonderful to deal with. She has provided updates and owners manual etc - just no VIN or build date. I am anxious on these as you can imagine. I will call again in a week or so. Maybe the new year will bring a cleaner line of sight. Thank you

We ordered an open slot from dealer in Scottsdale AZ. This was in July 2021. At the time out expected build date was end nov off the line in December. The date slipped to 2/22 off line first part of March. We have our full vin number now, but unfortunately pins and needles with omicron causing labor problems whether we will be delayed again or not. Ours was a 33 FB twin.

Good luck. I hope your rig shows up soon. I had not heard of "open slot" until I started on this forum. that choice was not offered when we ordered. This is our second AS. We sold our 25 ft Safari last spring. It has been a tough year w no rig. We are ready to hit it hard when our new classic rolls off. Good luck to you and safe travels. Thank you for the intel.

Ordered our 30' RBT Classic May 24, 2021 and dealer says it will be delivered in May 2022. Was told by several dealers we could get a Dec. delivery date. But we didn't get a slot, so guess it will take longer to get than if they had one. I too touch base with our salesman about once a month. Early on it was lack of the foam for the seats that was delaying delivery. As I understand it from them, Classics and Globetrotters are produced on the same line due to similar quality of items to install. Then there was the letter from AS headquarters that everything was going to slow down and they were regrouping. I'm learning patience from this process ;0)

Our scheduled production completion date was 4/1 just changed to 6/3. Ordered July 2021. Patience indeed.

We ordered our 30' Classic RTB on 5/8/2021. We were just notified on Friday 2/4/2022 that it has finally been delivered to the dealer in Denver. They are booked with deliveries all next week, so we scheduled delivery on Monday the 14th. It will be a great valentine's gift!

It sounds like we have ended up pretty lucky to have our unit already completed and delivered to the dealer. It is hard to believe there are others here with order dates similar to ours who are being quoted delivery dates in April.

I guess it is time to choose our first destination. We are not sure where we will go, but it will be somewhere warmer than Longmont, CO.

Do you remember what you production date was scheduled for? Our scheduled date was 2/22 to begin production, I’m guessing you might be part of the same production run. Fingers crossed that means that ours should be on time.

Our original date for production was end of Nov, and got bumped to Feb.

December for me. 30 foot classic. I was told April/May when I ordered it. I am expecting September based of how long others have had to wait.

As I recall, the estimated delivery date was before Thanksgiving 2021.

Thanks for the information. I anxiously wait for the first of March for an update. I try not to bother my dealer. I call once a month looking for updates. I will share as things mature.

Just got word today 33 twin classic is scheduled off production for 3/8. Since November last year was suppose to be 3/4 but slipped 4 days. Compared to the last slip of 3 months I’ll take it. At this point looks like a done deal though, they are working to arrange transport so hopefully drive off lot end of March early April.

Spoke to Factory Today. Ordered Sept '21, expect delivery Mar '23 for a 30' RBT. Was told they are now quoting 24 months for all Classics and Pottery Barns

Is that because they are producing the Pottery Barn Edition on the same manufacturing line?
