Furnace/AC issue

Any thoughts would be helpful. When I engage the furnace ( zone 1) which works fine the rear a/c fan (not the compressor) comes on. That should not happen. Ideas please.

Try setting the fan speed to automatic.

Actually it was on auto. I never had this issue with my previous 2015 Classic. I just took delivery from a dealer Friday with a through PDI but I guess they didn't see the problem. I will contact them tomorrow for advice.

It was my forgetfulness that caused the problem. I had just taken delivery of the Classic and had forgotten the sequence of the Dometic thermostat. The dealer had done the PDI and when I first energized the thermostat it was already set on furnace on Zone 1 so I mistakenly assumed that Zone 2 would have been off. But that was not the case as I learned when I went back over the problem and discovered that Zone 2 was set as fan which was the problem. I cut Zone 2 off and all was well.
