Floor safe key

Me again 😃 New to us 2020 30’ Classic. Previous owner never used/accessed the floor safe in the closet. No key to be found. Can I get one from Amsec, maker of safe? Is the key inside the safe? 😬 Thanks!

You could try a local locksmith.

You will have to use a local locksmith, who in turn will have to call Amsec and get them to make you spares. Be sure to have pictures of the labels on the safe that have the s/n and any other identifying information on them.

BTW, it might be relatively pricey.

There is a good chance that the lock smith could pick it and just replace the tumbler and key set? I haven’t opened ours in awhile but it doesn’t strike me as a super secure specialized system.

I can post pics of the key and inside the safe view of the tumbler if needed. Heck, if you wanna learn how to pick a lock then you may be able to get in?
