Extended warranty
Signed the papers today on our 2019 30' Classic. The F&I guy put the sales pitch on us about buying a 7 year extended warranty. I've never had an extended warranty on any vehicle so I'm not sure it could possibly be worth $3800.00. Anyone have any experience with them on an Airstream?

We have a 2018 Classic. I believe the standard warranty is three years. We’ve been back three time for items that the factory missed or didn’t do correctly. I don’t think we’ll need more warranty service. Also, cost seems really high.
I will be picking up my new trailer the end of January. That is way too expensive. Save the $3800 and if you could get 6% on your money at the end of three years you would have about $4,500.00. This could cover a lot of repairs with money left over.

Both are great suggestions. My feeling is with the 3 year warranty hopefully most problems will be resolved. Also, reading the fine print it, appears to me that there are a lot of loop holes to get them out of paying for just about anything.
I always think of a warranty as an insurance plan. It is all about risk management, and the plan designer is playing the odds that they will make money.
