Dining Table/Bed Conversion Cushion Issue

Hi all,
I have a 2018 Classic 30RBT.

So everyone understands that the dinette can convert to a bed by lowering the tabletop and inserting the two cushions.

I've done that but I'm finding that the outside cushion slips toward the open edge creating an uncomfortable gap for the person. Needless to say it impacts the ability to make a bed with sheets or any other covering.

I thought a solution might be to laydown a rubbermade-esq shelf liner, (see attached image) but it didn't work.

But it didn't work, ... the cushion still slips. (and I tried both sides of the cushion to no avail).

Hoping you guys have a mod you could share with me .

Thanks

Dave

Can you place Velcro on the cushion edges that donít show when in the seating position? Then match Velcro to Velcro when in the bed position? Just wondering. Good luck

If you use a mattress pad with elastic around the whole bottom, it should hold it all the cushions together.

I went a different route after the same issue. Gave up on the OEM cushions as the slide apart. Solution- went to Joann fabric and bought a 3-4 inch thick piece of foam same size as dinette top. Also bought a piece of felt lining to go over top of one side of the foam and a can of spray adhesive. Fits snugly, stays put, and felt lining stays cool. Extremely comfortable bed now. PM me if you need pic.

Where do you store the large single piece of foam?

I donít use it all the time so at the house. I only take it when we need the bed but itís the same size as the two cushions (just one piece). Also fits in the closet or on the bed when not in use. Itís very comfortable to sleep on and NO slipping.

We have a 33ft classic, same issue. We are using a mattress pad to avoid slips. We may try the joann fabric solution (very cool btw)!. I am also thinking of getting a custom made mattress pad (to match the width and length) for the top since we use ours a lot for the kids!
