I'm sure I'm not the only one that finds there is a need for a light above the dinette.
I've installed a residential pendant with a 12v
filament A19 bulb (Amazon). I didn't want to put any holes in the aluminum so I used a suction cup to hang the light (actually the one that came with the backup camera) and used furnace tape over flat wire. I hooked it into 12v
DC and put in a simple switch. It transforms the dining area and makes it much cosier and provides enough light to enjoy a meal without having to have all of the ceiling lights turned on.
