CZone Panel not reporting tire pressures

2021 Classic 30

After swapping some tires around (moved spare tire from its rim to one of the aluminum rims, and that tire to the steel rim to use as spare), I also “rotated” the right side tires. Once all the tires were back in place, I used the TST monitor to relearn all five sensors. The TST monitor reports all five tire pressures and temps correctly. I then followed the instructions in the Classic manual to update the CZone using the TST gateway. All beeps and lights confirmed successful update. And yet, this on my iPhone… (see first picture). The CZone panel is depicted in the second photo. I’m unsure why the spare is accurately reporting and the other four are not.

I drove today about 30 miles on the tires, hoping that the motion would update everything. Still nothing.

Not directly related to your issue but I’ve had two issues with my cZone which were resolved with a reboot. One was related to the panel not responding to touch on the tank gage. The other was related to the front air not restarting after cycling off when the desired temp was reached.

I did a battery disconnect on the panel button pushed the button to reconnect. The cZone restarted loading the configuration. This solved both issues.

You might consider seeing if this would resolve your issues.

Thanks, BLPeace1. Went through several complete "resets," with no luck. Still searching for a solution here...

It's been a while, have you figured this out? When I go to access the gateway under the closet (black box with antenna and clear button in the middle), it is not lit up and does not respond to pressing it at all (eg 5 presses and it should beep - it does nothing). So I can't even write back to CZone on the tires currently. Is there something that "powers" up the TPMS gateway that I'm not doing?

similar issue. had a tire replaced and they damaged the transponder. replaced the unit with new and now i get no reading on c-zone. it registers on my TPM unit inside the truck. how do you get the c-zone to recognize the new transponder?

There is a re-learn procedure that needs to be done. It is accomplished by placing the TPMS repeater (it’s hidden inside your trailer…on my 33 it’s behind a removable panel under the desk) into ‘learn mode’. You need to bring your TPMS inside the trailer with you and what you’re doing is getting the CZone programmed with whatever is in the TPMS. I’ve done the procedure a couple of times to change the tire pressure limits so I wouldn’t keep getting low tire pressure warnings on cold nights.

JC sent me the procedure and I think the procedure may also be in your owners manual (Airstream owners manual). If not, reach out and I can send it to you. The procedure is fairly straight forward, but even so I had to do it a couple of times to get it to “take” the changes.

Updating TPMS Monitor and CZone©

Any time you physically move a tire to a different
position, such as changing or rotating tires, you will
also need to update the sensor configuration on the
TPMS monitor and update the link between the monitor
and CZone.

Updating TPMS Monitor

A manual for the TPMS monitor has been provided with
your owner’s packet. Their manual contains warnings,
cautions, and information on updating the sensors that
should be reviewed.

Updating TPMS to CZone© Link

• Locate the TST Gateway transmitter wired to
CZone backbone. In the 30’ Classic, it is located
in compartment below wardrobe closet. In the 33’
Classic, it is located by removing drawer below the
convection oven.

• On the TPMS monitoring display, press and hold the
“Go” button for approximately 3 seconds until the
screen displays “ACC EPT”.
• Press the “+” button 5 times until “SEnd” is displayed.
• Place the TPMS display close to the Gateway
transmitter. Press the button on the transmitter (this
is the button that is actually a red blinking light) 5
times rapidly. The transmitter will then “beep.”
• Press and hold the “Set” button on the TPMS monitor
until both, the transmitter and monitor, beep and the
display shows “ACCEPT.”

I received the lastest from Airstream and the only difference to KCurtis instruction is:

5. Place the TST display close to the Gateway and press “Set” button once quickly per Figure 6.

Thanks for the update. I just looked at the 2024 Manual and it still hasn't been updated.
