CZone / NMEA network "Battery Disconnected"

Calling on the CZone / NMEA 2000 experts! My CZone is reporting my batteries are disconnected. What device on the NMEA 2000 network is sending information to the CZone that would make it think the batteries are disconnected.

I know the CZone is receiving something from the NMEA2000 network that is causing this because the error goes away if I disconnect the NMEA cable from the back of the CZone Touch Panel.

Solved

Thanks to Jordan, Brian and Andrew from JC to finally solve my problem. Jordan and Brian spend over a combined 32+ hours isolating the problem. This was after a year of dealer appointments, my troubleshooting and one visit to JC.

The CZone reported, "systems on, batteries disconnected" error message. While in the coach, everything worked as it should, however the app would not let me view or control anything. At first it was blamed on hardware, then the cloud, then the app, then back to the hardware. This went on for a year.

Finally got the attention of JC to resolve it once and for all. The short answer is the firmware / czone device configuration files were incorrect or missing. In the process of trying to correct the issue, a Contact 6 was replace and possibly not reconfigured.

I intend to make a backup thumb drive of the configs so if something wacky happens I can restore it to make sure it's right in the future. That would have saved a lot of time and aggravation.

I assume you see this message on the Smart App. and it locks you out from doing anything else on the app. You should also see a similar error message on the CZone touch panel.

After a long ordeal and several trips to a local dealer plus two trips to JC, a guy from JC engineering came over to the service center with a laptop and a NEMA interface adapter. He reprogramed the devices in my coach. They believe it was Contact 6 device on the NEMA network needed the firmware reprogramed.

One quick test is to remove the nema cable from the back of the CZone Touch Panel. If the message goes away, then there is something on the network causing the issue, could be hardware or firmware.
