Classic storage

Just purchased a 2019 after reading many threads here; thanks to all of you for great information. We stored our previous 25ft International outdoors but are considering storing the classic indoors or covered. We live in Prescott, Az and availability is limited. There is a new company Luxor that sells indoor storage sites but they star at $61k! Plus a monthly HOA fee! How many of you store yours indoors or covered and what does it cost to do so?

That seems very excessive. It works out to $500 per month for ten years without the HOA fee. Most of the prices I have heard (on airforums) range between $150 to $300 per month without the down payment (even in urban areas). This could be for covered or indoors. I have been looking, but it is too expensive in our area.

Spend the money to build your own garage
The main idea is to keep the trailer out of the sun.
Even a carport would be fine
We keep ours under a pole barn roof

We have always kept ours stored in an enclosed, lockable rental storage. $235/month.
It has electricity and we run a dehumifier (which we need in Houston but you probably don't in Arizona!)

After 15 years I feel that it has made a big difference in how our Airstream looks. Most people can't believe she is 20 years old.
Hey, its the only way to be sure!

We store indoors in a locked "garage". I has 24 hour security (it also is a police impound lot ...). Cost is $100 a month. If we wanted to go to full up heat / electric / dump station, "private" garage it would be $500 and about three times the distance.

Sun / hail / rain / snow / blowing sand are the sorts of things people worry about. The caulking on the seals (roof / windows / door / ...) only lasts just so long. You can stretch it's life by keeping it out of the sun and rain. Redoing all of it is a "many thousands of dollars" kind of thing. Taking that from once every 2 years to once every 8 years would pay a lot of storage bills.

Ours is stored at our house outside on a pad, however we get it polished every year. Hopefully it works out fine. That's why I bought an Airstream, low maintenance and longevity.
