Blind Malfunction

When putting the big blind by the dinette (33 classic 2019) down only the right side goes down. So the blind gets all skewed trying to lower. This is a brand new trailer, just out on our first trip. It had worked before. Any ideas?

We had to have the blind fixed at the dealer for out 2018 33. It works great now.

We had a problem with one of our blinds in our Signature. Since it had failed I tried to take it apart to fix. That was a mistake. These things are very complicated and just the process of taking it apart is enough to guarantee it will not go back together again! I'm pretty handy with things but this thing scared me.

Let your dealer replace it. Just make sure the die lot looks correct. When they replaced mine, they replaced both windows near each other to keep the color the same. Of course, this was Jackson Center.

Mine would not go down all of the way. Jon from Airstream called and walked me through. I disconnected the lower rail popping the lower clips using a screwdriver. Holding the lower rail down as far as I could reach and level. Using the phone app. I cycled the blinds several times, all the while holding the lower rail level and as low as possible. This reset the automatic stops. No trouble since Jpuckett@airstream.com is the man with the plan.

Thanks for the replies. At least itís a minor annoyance, iíll reach out to AS, thanks for the contact info.

The only other, but major gremlin we have now is the hot water. When we turn on the faucet it will warm up to hey very warm temperature, but only stays at that temperature for about five seconds, and then cools off to lukewarm. I have been reading the alde thread, but there is so much information in there itís hard to sort out .

So far iíve replaced the air cushion, checked the glycol lever, and adjusted the mixing valve as per instruction. but nothing seems to change much.

The heater function is working superb.

In the service menu it shows water temp around 150 degrees.

Itís frustrating thatís itís this fickle.

Google Alde mixing valve technical bulletin and follow the instructions step by step.. valve is located under the dinette seat closest to the door. Use gas and power for the boost

Thanks for the tip. I havenít tried purging air from the bleed valves yet, i donít have any alde fluid at the moment so i didnít want to do that until i did. iím assuming that this would not have any affect on the water heater specifically though as it seems like it would be related to the overall radiator heat function. And also, the heater seems to be working fine.

Hopefully the mixing valve thing will work.
