Beeping noise when showering

I have strange one. When my wife takes a shower we hear a double beep every 15 or 20 seconds. Repeats about 3 times then stops. It doesn't do it when I shower. It is not the Co2 detector, smoke detector or the propane detector. It sounds like it is actually coming from inside the shower. It's crazy 2017 Classic

Hi

It's likely *not* inside the shower

To the left of the shower down low is the firefly panel with stuff behind it. To the right of the shower is the TV stuff and control panels for the sleeping area. Both are candidates for near by beeps. No idea what it would be past that.

Maybe it was some "smart ass" at the factory. They hid a smoke detector. Where it picks up moisture from the shower.
Does it happen when you use the shower?

Wild guess, but I'll bet your wife does not use as much hot water or set the handle as hot as you do and wondering if it has something to do with the Alde and the noise is actually at the panel and not "in" the shower. Try running the shower with no one in it at different temperatures and both of you try and find the noise would be what I would do, plus put one of my dogs to work and tell her to "find it" and she would.

Let us know what you find, if anything.

Mojo......really? You have to be kidding.....I am totally convinced that you have the Airstream equivalent of Cristine. Your AS is messing with you. Have you considered calling a priest? When you figure out where the beep is coming from you gotta let me know, totally crazy.

I am convinced the trailer is possessed as well. I got it back from JC and everything is working perfectly, INCLUDING the hot water! Then this weird beeping thing starts and tree limb fell on the road side rear corner and I have a nice softball size dent. I can't win. Maybe It does need an exorcism

It only happens when my wife showers. Never when I'm in it.

Certainly do what Bud suggested and turn the water on at the level your wife usually uses it and both look for the beeping noise. There must be a logical answer. Then call your local Catholic Church, it couldn't hurt.

Actually she runs the water much hotter than I do. She took a shower yesterday and it didn't beep. We will see about today! I will try what you suggested. Hopefully it will beep and we can figure out where it's coming from.

As for the dent. Look for my thread on how I removed the dent on my Argosy.
I would bet, with a small inner tube, some plywood and a shop vac you could remove that dent.

I don't have a clue; but love these kinds of challenges, for sure. Not being noisy but interested: what happens before the shower? Like, heating up a microwave to cook something while in the shower? Turning on a computer close by the shower to use after the shower? Taking off a wearable device and plugging it in for recharge and it alerting you to "charge complete". Perhaps a surge protector kicking in if the shower area is using a heated light, etc. Is there some type of 'water detector' being set off? Or does the A/S have a monitor panel that alerts you when water heater conditions change? Does the A/S have an on-demand electric water heater that sends out an alarm when in use? Oh well, good luck and break it down, keep it simple and check only one thing at a time. jd

Sounds in shower

Does it do it only when you're backing up?

Beeping has stopped as mysteriously as it appeared and my dent is gone too! Local guy in Jacksonville, FL called "Never Happened". You be the judge. Click image for larger version

Beeping noise when showering

No mystery. Sometimes temperature cycles make dents 'heal' spontaneously.

I have a 'tail drag' wrinkle that seems to be less a few years later...

The dent is one of those times where I simply say "Huh" and move on.
