Bathroom Fan Inop

Our bathroom fan in our 17 Classic stopped working. I checked the DCV and had power out of the red button switch, now no power at the switch.?
Seems the fan motor either burned out or won’t run. This assembly is made by Ventair by Dexter according to AS.

The fan motor looks like it’s riveted to the top of the bracket? Looks like a complete unit exchange.

Anyone ever changed one out?

Couple of years ago I did on a 30FC, same issue. I called JC, they sent me one and I did the job. If memory serves me correctly less than an hour.

In this day and age, just about everything is a swap out. It should be a warranty item on a 2017. I'd go through JC or a dealer.

Thanks, I called Airstream and they said they didn’t have them and gave me the vent line company’s name to get one?

JC = Jackson Center, where the Airstreams are manufactured in OH.

Ummm ..... errrr ..... AS has a 2 year warranty on their trailers. The model year switches in June. A 2017 can only date to June of 2016. I believe your trailer is still in warranty. It will be at least through June of 2018. Since warranty starts at purchase, un-sold 2017's could have warranties that run into 2020. A fan that fails is a warranty failure. You don't have to go digging up parts on your own. Any AS dealer can do the warranty repairs.
