Bathroom door fit
Often when camping the bathroom door with our 2018 33FB Classic does not close fully. Checked to be sure the trailer is level, but the door hits on the door opening.
Any ideas or experience with this problem?
Thanks all!

Rick,
Welcome to the family and glad to have someone else from Kingwood. We’ve lived in Kingwood since 1982. You might update your profile, it shows that you are currently looking and it appears that you have a 2018 33 FB. You might post pictures of your door, both the hinge and lock side to help in your issue. I just fixed the opposite issue with our new to us 2014 FC 30 RBQ bathroom door that had a 1/2” gap between the door and the face frame. I fixed it by adding a 1/4” thick 1” wide strip of lauan plywood between the hinge and the face frame. Good luck and hope to meet you whenever this virus mess is over and talk trailers.

That happened to our 2018 Classic 33. At JC, they somehow unscrewed the entire right wall and moved it out a fraction. Technician said that wall is adjustable, not the door.

Your response is probably for rickelkins rather than me. Have a blessed day.

I have a 2019 33Fb Classic that has same problem. Wont close at all if even a little bit unlevel. I'll have to look at the wall adjustment DeltaRon mentions above.

My Classic 33 had the same problem; was catching at the top 2 inches of the door frame. Door frame opening was 1/8 inch narrower at the top than the center or bottom.
I solved this problem using a modified brute force method. I used a scissor jack across the door opening at the narrow point, and very slowly and carefully moved the sticking point back. In effect I moved the top of the wardrobe enclosure back 1/8 inch. There was a gap between the back of the wardrobe and the interior sheet metal, so it did not cause any deformation of the sheet metal.

If you have the hanging type pocket door, I can tell you what to do to fix it. Let me know and I will send you some pictures and instructions for what I did.

I took mine to Airstream factory in Ohio - had door fixed with several other issues and 3” lift added while there.
