Annoying Eyebrow Window Shade Clips

I've about run out of patience regarding these. In our 2017 Classic there are two "eyebrow" windows at the front of the trailer. Each of these has a shade to cover the window. From the moment we picked up our trailer the shade's upper mounting rail continuously falls out of the clips. At first it was both sides. Now it is mostly the one just inside the door on the right side.

I complained to the dealer when we took delivery. Again when the trailer was back in for some warranty work. Pointed it out to another affiliated dealer that was closer to home. And again once we moved to our new local dealer. All of these times this was under warranty. Several times I was told, "Oh, they all do that."

If "they all do that" maybe it is time for Airstream to come up with a new way to mount these things. I have tried repeatedly to press the rails into the clips. I have cut my fingers several times on the sharp edges of the clips. No matter what I try (and apparently no matter what, if anything, 3 dealers have tried) the upper rails will not stay attached.

Has anyone come up with a solution to this problem? Any ideas on a fix? Most times after a few hours on the road we'll find one or both shades hanging down from the strings banging against the wall(s). TIA for any ideas/suggestions/links to a possible solution.

Anyone Have A Solution?

Any ideas?
I have reached out to Airstream Customer Service, explaining the problem in an email. Haven't heard back from them yet.
Anyone else having issues with these accordion shades on the 'eyebrow' windows not staying in the retainer clips?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Donít have the problem. Could always just send a screw through the rail to fix it?
