Itís a shark bite valve. I use a flat head screw driver. You need to press the red plastic toward the white valve all around the pipe and lightly pull. There is a special tool to release them if you wanna do it the right way. They are easy to break, so be careful.
You can also and probably should just order a replacement one from Truma. I was able to stop the leak when I had the same issue but it came back pretty quickly. If you have the replacement you can descale the first one and if it doesnít fix it, you already have the replacement.
Replacement is like $10 (I believe). Itís a special part from Truma though so you canít just find a replacement at Home Depot or Loweís.
The drip isnít a strain on the system in the short run.
