Alde location

Has anyone relocated their Alde unit ? I want to remove the bulky dinette & the Alde mess of wires & plumbing is under one bench .

I don't believe anyone has tackled that move before. Very complicated and, well, where would you move it.

The second issue is the other dinette seat. Have you gazed at the rat's nest under it??? All this would require redesigning the entire works.

So let's think another way. What are you trying to accomplish? Can the original seat areas be used to incorporate a new design that would met your needs?

The dinette seat closest to the tv could become a cabinet with shelves and maybe a pullup table to work on. The Alde base could be a bench seat. See what I am getting at?

Yes, I can visualize your option but that will not do what I want. I want the area to appear lighter, more open. Perhaps a smaller table & 2 chairs.
Where is the Alde located in other models that do not have the traditional booth arrangement ?

Only the classic 30 and 33 have the Alde in airstream. Both are located under the dinning bench. Id love to put a desk and a U shaped dinette in my trailer but the Alde relocation would be a problem.

Im following this to see what you come up with. Seems like a bigger challenge than it may be worth. Just my 0.02

I agree. Given a choice I would have sacrificed a drawer & chosen to locate the Alde under one of the twin beds . This would open more possibilities for the living area .
