I put a switch for the pump on the hose. I used some lamp wire and a toggle switch and ran the wire up the hose. The Alde pump has one similarly placed and I thought I might need it near the tank adaptors to switch the pump on/off while holding the adaptors in the tank holes. It turned out that the stoppers fit very snug and the on/off switch could have been right at the pump.
