AC Zones Swapped
Well it was somewhere in Wisconsin we discovered that the front AC was connected to the rear Thermostat and the rear AC was connected to the front thermostat. It seemed that one end of the new 2018 Classic 30 was in the sun one in the shade. Despite the settings the end in the shade was noticeably colder than the one in the sun. Condition was confirmed when applying heat to the front Tstat rose the rear temp indication on the fire fly. It was easily compensated by just bumping both or the opposite setting down, but very annoying. Single AC operations were possible with the expected unevenly served areas.
Jackson Center service department didn't have any openings during the week were passing through. So I called our dealer in Florida and scheduled an appointment.
We arrived at Tampa RV in Dover Florida, part of the RV One System, first thing in the morning at the appointed time. Eric and Jeff got right to the problem. As we all discovered things are in different locations on different models. They researched the locations, found the appropriate plugs and swapped the leads. It was good they did it cause I just don't work well under the dinette seats in confined spaces like in my early days. That and with the Alde system things are not always where they were with older models. Forty five minutes and we were on our way. No charge warrantee work.
Good work Tampa RV.
