This morning the microwave was working. 500 miles later its not. Reset breaker. Still no power to microwave. I feel as though its plugged into a GFI that tripped. Or the plug came loose (but I cannot find it :-(
Any suggestions to locate the problem?
BTW, Bose sound bar also has no power but other all outlets do have power...
Normally (it's an Airstream ... there is no normal ...) the plug is behind the microwave. You have to pull the unit out of the cabinet to get to the plug.
The outlet behind/near the microwave may be a GFI, which you will have to reset. Is the breaker for this circuit not a GFI breaker? If so, there may be another nearby duplex outlet which is a GFI, which in turn supplies other outlets like the one for the microwave. Reset all GFI breakers you can find, including the in the bath. [ . . . cover all the possibilities . . . . . . ]
Thanks everyone. After pulling the microwave, I found the cord had work its way from the outlet. Problem solved.
For future reference, I think pulling the drawer from under the microwave may be an easier pathway to the cord/outlet as the cord on the microwave is barely long enough to reach the outlet when the microwave is pulled out.
At least on my version of the Classic, there is a solid partition between the drawer and the microwave section. It runs back far enough that getting to the plug via that route is not an option. It's Airstream so who knows what this or that trailer may have in it .....
