2019 Classic Electric Outlet Issue

Electric outlets in the coach that also work on inverter work fine on shore power. The GFCI controlling them also trips as it should when the "test" button is depressed. But when on inverter power and disconnected from shore power they are dead and the GFCI controlling them does not trip. Seems like the breaker is not getting power when on inverter but does on shore power.
The TV outlet works on inverter as do the recliners.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

When wired stock from AS, the inverter circuit is isolated from the other 120V circuits, so the GFCI circuit is intentionally not powered. Since they are not live, the test button which is a live test, also does not function.

The stock AS inverter is generally limited to 1000 W (~9 amps) so it is only capable of driving the single 15A inverter circuit which includes the entertainment equipment and recliners etc.

That explains it. Thanks.

Hi

A good guess ( but only a guess) is that you have the following "live" on inverter:

1) The outlet that drives the recliners
2) The outlet that drives the front TV
3) The outlet that drives the back TV
4) An outlet under the dinette.
5) Two outlets on the nightstands in the bedroom.

Past that, everything is dead when just on inverter.
