2018 RBT Classic Trickle Charge Question

Hi all, ….

I've got a question for the group.

In a classic, how can you tell that you're plugged into Shore Power other than trying to use appliances that won't work unless you're plugged in?

In my ole 89 Excella there's a little red ight on the range hood that lights up when I'm on electric.

Hoping for an easy button answer.

thanks for any help

Dave

You hear a clicking when the AC current activates and the monitor the battery voltage jumps up.

I have a night light plugged into a 110v outlet. When it lights I know I'm connected.

If it's a 2018 Classic, you have both a gas oven and separate microwave or a convection/microwave combo. Either way, the microwave has a digital clock. If the clock is lit up you're connected to shore power, otherwise not.

Noted above there are many ways to tell the power is on. On the CZ display panel there is also a line under control that says power on or off.

I have not seen that on my 2018 multiplex panel.
Would it be possible for you to take a quick photo and attach it in a reply?
Thanks so much for the assist.

Will get a photo of the CZ control display next visit to my storage unit. I think the control system from the 2018 Classic and the 2020 models are different.

OP, the 2020 has CZone multiplex and we have Firefly in the 2018. Only thing that indicated shore power on the Firefly is the battery indicator. It should ready 13.5 or 13.7 and be green. As another poster already said too, the microwave turns on if you’re on shore power.

The cord also had a power indicator light at the connection. It may only come on with 50a service, I am not certain of that being fact though. Your FF battery indicator and microwave are fact though

Are you asking because you are experiencing issues with the system?
