That is our thought as well. I'd say it's pretty unclear (at least to me) how much it would add to or detract from a sale. It certainly is a plus on any sale.
Most of us have zero intent to sell our new toys so, even the timing of such a sale is quite nebulous. In the mean time (say the next decade or two) I have these bags full of pillows and bed covers to store and keep clean .... Of course I have piles and piles of junk here and there so it's not like it's the only thing I'm storing.
