2017 Sewer vacuum breaker valve location

Hello all! I’ve been reading all the posts for the past 10 years while roaming the country in our 2011 Flying Cloud and finally joining the conversation after purchasing our 2017 Classic rear queen several months ago.

Question…

Does anyone know where the sewer flush vacuum breaker valve is located in the 2017 Classic rear queen? Im guessing in the bathroom somewhere but figured I’d ask before tearing into things.

Thanks for the help!

Are you having a problem with the flush system?

On our 2017 it's built into the toilet. It's easily replaced.

There is a schematic drawing in the parts book on page IV-9, which should give you an idea where to look. (looks like it is inside the bathroom base cabinet)

No problems with flush system. All good there…this is the first time winterizing this unit and I know from previous experience on my FC25fb these vacuum breaker valves can freeze up. Just trying to locate it

Thank you for the schematic. I’m getting closer but have to figure out what cabinets to remove. I’ll send pics later this afternoon. The saga continues!

I'd leave the screwdrivers alone for a while. Just start opening lav cabinet doors first ones being below the sink. Mine is clear plastic seen just behind the trap. I've never removed it for winterizing.

Extra credit for those that can see what was wrong with this factory vacuum breaker install. And it IS fixed now.

Well I just learned something new! I didn't know there was a vacuum breaker on the flush line. I thought the OP was referring to the toilet vacuum breaker

The question was "Sewer vac breaker"?
That looks be on the rong side of the sink drain.

Our sewer vent 'breaker' is on the BT vent that exits to the roof.
Is this one more of the 'improvements?'

Its going to be very close to, if not right inside of where the exterior hose connection is.

We have a WINNER! Good eye SVTOTEM

Don't remember what triggered this inspection but it would leak a little water out of the cap when you shut the water off inside the rig.

And the fixed view here.

The original question was "sewer FLUSH vacuum breaker".

I just blow air through the flush system to winterize.

Then it's possible that we are confusing the black tank flushing valve to a one way valve at the toilet flush or a grey line air valve.

Maybe we all need to read it out loud so we can understand it better for each other.😂

This is the "sewer flush vacuum breaker valve" and I also clear it a couple times a season, and air it for winter.

Yes Bob, confusing. I took it to mean the black tank flushing system.

Thank you all for the help. I couldn’t find the dang valve without dismantling the entire cabinetry in the bathroom. It’s most likely behind the hamper but there was no easy way to remove it. My solution was using a hand pump to push antifreeze through the sewer flush hookup until I heard the antifreeze empty into the black tank. That should work….I hope!

Happy camping all!
