2017 Classic TV Antenna

It looks like AS may have changed the TV antenna from the Winegard Disc type antenna. Does anyone know if this has changed and I'd so, to what antenna.

Thanks

It's the same as it has been since the change to this type of antenna.

I changed my antenna on my Classic to a Winegard Razor. Best antenna I've ever had in a RV.

Reception is very spotty, unless one is close to a TV station.
Many times a station that is a little further away, breaks up continually and many times I'm told "no signal, or check your antennae connection".
many stations just show snow, or fuzzy white displays.
The TVs though, are great for watching DVDs.

Was the Razor install difficult? We're picking up our new 2017 Classic in a couple weeks and the antenna is something I'd like to replace at the same time we install our dish.

The dealer installed my Razor. Did not seem like a big project. They had a special going on.

That's good to hear. I have one that I won in a Winegard contest, but have hesitated installing it due to reports that it didn't work well when installed on metal roofs. Looks like I'm going up on the roof. Just to clarify. Is it this one?

graysailor, I assume having the omnidirectional before the Razar upgrade, the improvement is due to its directional design. I find my stock antenna worse than the bat wing. I assume my stock antenna mounted so close to the rear AC unit is partially to blame.

Interesting observation this weekend (laughable, that is)... had a couple channels whose reception seemed fine but whose signal strength apparently was just above useable. When we turn on the bathroom fan it clobbers the TV signal on these usable but weaker signals. Apparently the fan motor causing interference as the cable must run right past it in close proximity. Didn't affect the stronger signals enough to break up the picture.
