Windows

I was washing vehicles the other day and decided to put a fresh coat of RainX on the windshields. While doing this, the idea hit me that I ought to do the windows on the AS. Having all the windows is one of the things that sold us on our trailer.

My question is: is there a problem with putting RainX on the windows and stone guards?

Do I have to worry about anything ending up on the side of the trailer?

I put it on glass surfaces of AS only. Do not put on plexiglass. Wipe off on surface other than glass immediately.

Rain-X says it is not good for plastic but any glass windows should be fine. They have a product for plastic. I wouldn't want it on my clearcoat, but I would simply rinse it off if you spill it on the aluminum.

So what about the vista view windows, are the glass or plastic? And how about the short windows at the sink and bathroom as well as the other short windows, glass or plastic?

Thanks
