What %off are Dealers giving?

We found a gently used we mean looks new! 2018 International 27FBT at a dealer and before putting a deposit on it price a new one and it wasn’t to much more than the used one, but then they said hold on let’s see what we can do on the used one and came back with an offer $18000 cheaper so we put a deposit on the used one. We are hoping it’s a good deal.
We have searched the nation for a 2018 International 27FBT and can’t even find another one for sale!
We’ve never had an Airstream!
Hoping we are doing the right thing.
We’ve camped for 20 years.
We started out in a pop up, travel trailer, 5th wheel, toy hauler, travel trailer, 5th wheel, Class A Tiffin, now a 45ft toy hauler!
We have always admired Airstreams!

Welcome to the Airstream family!! I suspect you got a decent deal. With the way things are going, the prices of new ones are going to increase quickly, if you can even get one before the end of 2022. Congratulations!!

Welcome to the Airstream Family!

The good news is if you find an Airstream isn't for you then you can sell it without loosing money. They aren't perfect, but neither are the ones that cost 10 times them.

Sounds like you got a good deal, despite not knowing what you paid.

Pretty weird that the dealer would drop the price by $18k just for asking, must have been pretty overpriced to begin with I would think.

Anyway, good luck with your new trailer. We bought our 2020 GT 25' used from Colonial and feel like we got a good deal as well, having priced new ones, looks like we saved about $25k.

We just ordered a 2023 International 27 FBT with all available options and got a 7% discount off list. Pretty pricey at $141K, which does not include a new hitch and dealer installed 16” wheels and Michelin tires. Will be about $145K out the door, including tax, transportation and prep. This is our third Airstream. Last one was a 2015 Flying cloud 27 FBT that cost $100K new. Hope this helps.

This sounds like a good deal and you should jump on it if this is the model you want, as Airstreams are in such high demand and they sell fast!

Anything is just worth whatever someone will pay for it. Currently folks who ordered new are getting an additional 3-6 months tacked onto their wait time, so if you really want an Airstream buying one used is the right way to go.

Be sure you know how long the dealer will give you on warrantee issues. Many trailer things don't show up until you've hit the road, and by the time you get back it is too late.

Just ordered a 2023 International 27 forward twin beds with Rear hatch, solar 180 watts, and a second a/c unit. It was hard wading in with dealers . Out the door price was 126,400 with taxes tag and fees. They claim an August slot. The dealer gave me a 19.5 k discount. I found most dealers are using 2023 pricing as a way to scam us out of more money by raising MSRP. I was told Airstream locks in the price once ordered. I had another dealer offer to beat this price once I claimed I got it but I told him that I wasn't interested as he should have not tried to rip me off with the 2023 scam.

Mind DM’ing your sales person’s contact info? My local dealers are not budging and using 2023 pricing. Don’t mind driving for a good deal.
